How can you use Johnny’s inspiration to help you in your dry cleaning business this year?

I’ve been a collector of quotes for over 35 years. I have a quote-of-the-day site
(http://famouslifequotes.org) that I’ve been running for 5 years. I make it available to
my dry cleaning customers as part of who I am.

I also put quotes on my tickets. I change the quote every week.

What can you do for your dry cleaning business to inspire loyalty?

It works! Got two referrals this week because of my positive enthusiasm in my words and
my business.  It all adds up.  Make people feel good and they will flock to you.

    Thank you so much for posting such a wonderful idea!
    I recently had some ideas on low-cost marketing that you might already know. It was to remind our customers simple seasonal dry cleaning items such as winter comforter or ugg boots. Guess what? It did work well. Simply attaching a piece of paper on front desk or wherever customers can see easily and read until their dry cleanings were picked up from cleaner’s rack.

    Do u think we can have any other cleaning items during summer time in order to raise summer season sale?

    Kevin–thanks for your question about selling seasonal stuff during the summer. One of my members came up with the idea of the “Blue Bag Special.” With this special, you hang on your route customers doors a 33-gallon garbage bag over a pant hanger with a little note telling them that they can get 25% off their household goods if they act by (and give them one week) a certain date. When his route drivers are doing the route, they hang this promotion on their route customers doors. 25% of them are giving him their household goods. You can do this promotion anytime.

    Another member gives a discount in January for anything Christmas or holiday. If it’s red, or with some kind of a holiday these, she gives them a discount. This is a great way to get these items cleaned that might not get cleaned.
